I don't know what's with Saturdays and my hubby. We went wild again this time. We were just supposed to look for a counter at Office Max. We found it and I found the biscotti that I love and had him buy it too. He was kinda interested in the jump drive, but they were kinda high. So we decided not to get it then.
Then we went to visit Ashley Furniture and look at some living room suites. I got interested in the microfiber ones, since I had good feedbacks from Christi and Fides. The one we saw was pretty and was not so expensive. We took note of the number and the price and left the store. Beside Ashley Furniture was the Burlington Factory. I had some gift card from Burlington, so we decided to drop in and spend the card. We found some nice thanksgiving decor and did a little christmas shopping too.
Danaea called and said she was hungry and wanted a Braum's sandwich. So Skip and I went to Braums and bought our lunch and ate at home.
After lunch, Skip and I went out again to visit more furniture stores. We went to Furniture Mart and Furniture World. It was our first time to visit Furniture Mart. It was really a good cheap place, specially the paintings and the carpets, as well as the furniture prices . We decided that if we want some paintings and carpets, this would be a good place to buy it. Then we visited the store beside it, the Furniture World. Furniture World has recently been our favorite store. They always had a great package for us. We got Danaea's futton bed from them, our bedroom suite, lamps, and our living room tables. Today, we were not hoping to buy anything but just scout for the microfiber furniture. Then something caught our eyes. We saw a beautiful leather living room set. Mike our favorite customer service guy was nowhere. So we talked with another salesman named Randy. Randy didn't give us a good deal as Mike would have, but we just feel in love with the set. And so just by the spur of the moment, we got ourselves a new leather set minus the tables which we just had. It is unbelievable, but we just did it again! Oh well, we hope and pray we can get our butt to work more now that we have so many bills to pay.
