Finally, we finished painting our living room. I love it. I am now hurting from all the work.

Today we also used our new grill which my husband and I put together yesterday. We had a great time having a little barbecue party amongst ourselves.

Danaea was the MVP of the day in their basketball game. They didn't win, but they did a great job. In the last quarter, there was only 4(3 was fouled) of them against 5. There were normally 8 of them in the team, the other team though had 10 players. But the score was 27 - 32. We are so proud of her.

Skip was sked to leave for Albuquerque, NM today, but the weather was so bad. We were out in the freeway and there was no way we could make it to the airport on time. So we cancelled it and sked it for tomorrow.

Danaea had no game. Weather was crappy and with the President's Day holiday, the basketball courts were closed.

Skip started painting our guest toilet in the living room,and I did the finishing touches.

Oh, let me tell an interesting thing while we were bringing Danaea to Sydney's place. There was this dog who attacked my car. Yes, it was funny but kinda freaky. The dog went in front of the car and bark on it and tried to bite it. I couldn't move forward for fear that I might ran over it and kill it. The female owner was trying to call it, but the dog wouldn't let us go. So I move an inch every now and then and honk and honk so it would go away. The female owner never went near her dog, she was just yelling on the sideline for her dog. It seemed like she was also scared of her dog. Then there was another car on the other corner. The dog ran to that car and started biting the bumper of it too. So it gave us a chance to move away and I put my accelerator on the subdivision area. The dog saw us and he too ran as fast as he could to catch us. It was freakingly funny! He was really determined to catch us and beat us. When wanted to ran in front of the car, but fortunately it was the curb, so I took it and he saw another car and ran after it. Freaky dog! I just told Danaea that she and her friends don't need to walk around the neighborhood because of that dog. I was going to report the incident, but I forgot. I was excited to met my lady friends Fides and Mipette at the North Park Mall.

At 9PM we picked up Danaea, and Sydney and her friends ask if she could sleep over for the night. I told Danaea to ask her Dad's permission first, and she did. So she slept in Sydney's place which is about a mile away from the house.

I had to go to the adjuster of All State Insurance, so they could give me an estimate of how much the repair would cost.

Then we ate at Golden Coral. Great food!

Someone ran into me in the parking lot today. I was backing out and as soon as I was about to change gear, I saw the bumper of another car going towards the front passenger side door. I beeped on her! But it was too late, she hit me. She said she didn't see me. I said, I saw your end and that is why I beeped because it was too late to change gear and move out. She said, "Why don't we just pay for each other." I replied, "No, I need your insurance information." So we exchanged information and she gave me a number. I called the number and it was an answering machine, so I decided to inform her insurance (All State Insurance) of the accident. Then I took pictures of the damaged.

I ached all over, but I have to work. I have a very important document that I am working with, so I just took Advil. When I got to the office, my officemate Luke suggested that I take Aleve.

We didn't go to church. Our bodies were aching from the walk yesterday. We just did a little cleaning in the garage. I cleaned my car and Skip's using the car wash Danaea gave Skip last year.

In the evening Skip's friend Patrick came over for a visit.

Morning - We went for a walk for an hour in the park. Then we went to Lowe's and bought some materials for Mama Jean and fertizers for our lawn.

Noon - Bummer! Danaea's team lost, but she played well. During the first half, her team was just 1.5 points away. After the break, for some unexplainable reason, they just lost it all. They couldn't get the ball in the goal, passed it to the other team or the other team stole it from them. It was horrible, we don't even know what happened.

Evening - Steele Family pre-Valentine Party. Christi, Greg, Brooke and Wendy came over to the house. We did a little singing, then cooking and talking. Just a good evening shared with the loved ones.

TGIF Thank God It's Friday!

Thank God It Rained too! or TGIR! and you heard that from me... Texas needed some rain so we wouldn't have wildfires.

For lunch today, we went to Ginghis Grill and Mongolian Barbecue (near my office). I was so full! I went back for a second bowl. The price is reasonable for lunch on weekdays, 8.99 eat all you can (build your own bowl). I really love this place, it's one of my favorite restaurants to go.

Oh, a little update on my cousin. I just learned from her, that her husband reported her missing in Las Vegas three days ago. And that very day, the Vegas detectives found her. She told them she wasn't missing. She was just taken custody and was advised to stay away from his abusive husband. So there you go... She is in good hands. Thanked God for that or TG!

The day went well at work. My cousin Eva on the otherhand had some good progress with her deal. Thank God for that!

Tonight the Pastor of First Christian Church in Garland will be coming over to our house. We need to go get some refreshments for him.
